Spotted a pair of ruby-throated hummingbirds approx. 7 a.m. on 5/1/06 in a nearby cluster of shrubs/trees. Had started placing feeders out in the yard mid-April and have been anxiously waiting for their arrival. Only saw the male go to the feeder which is next to a pot of petunias just off our backdoor deck.
