Robin production is really humming here. Last week, my new little car resembled a haystack from the robin who was feverishly nest building in the crabapple near the deck. So far the maple west of the house has a nesting robin, the crabapple at the back of the house by the deck has a nestor, and the pear tree in front of the house has it's own robin nursery. One false move by any of the trees causes a tizzy of scolding! I found a bit of a robin egg up the road at my daughter's house and saw a robin carrying a worm. I don't think my nests are that far along yet.
