The only other report I have heard of so far comes from dplexer Carolyn King, who informed me that Point Pelee National Park naturalist Sarah Rupert spotted a monarch on Saturday, May 6/06 in the park.
The great lakes and the land in the immediate proximity of the great lakes remains cool, but if this warm weather keeps up, we should be seeing them soon.
In many years, they are seen at Sault Ste Marie about the same time we see them in the Toronto area.
