The butterflies are just not here yet! The milkweed hasn't even sprouted yet, either, it's been cold here. I saw what looked like a Regal Fritillary today(which would be early for that, but the violets are going gangbusters here, and they love violets) but none of the phlox has bloomed yet, and the monarchs really like phlox nectar. I don't expect them to arrive until the phlox blooms. If I don't get any milkweed this year they probably won't stay here long.
