Saw my first monarch on Saturday morning when we were installing the dock at the cabin. Then I saw another and another. This went on for the entire Memorial weekend. Estimating at least 25 monarchs seen over the 3 days. Unlikely that this was an actual first sighting for the area since we had just arrived that morning. Winds were very strong out of the SW all 3 days with record high temps in the mid 90's.
