Photographed 2 individuals, 1 was worn on one of the wings, the other looked bright and fresh. In total, we saw 5 Monarch's throughout the park. The milkweed is not blooming (Monarch's were seen nectaring on apple blossoms), but they were sitting on milkweed that is about 8-12 inches tall.
NOTE: My wife and daughter noticed 2 Monarch's in the city of London, ON on the same day - 1 of them was laying eggs on the milkweed the same size.
