We were at our camp on Swan Lake in Swansville , Maine. We were looking for song birds when a butterfly went by. In checking with the binoculars, it was a monarch.I am surprised to see one so early, since the milkweed is only about 3"high on Islesboro.We have had some stormy weather and it may have been blown in.
