I've now seen my first monarchs of the season - one Monday at the Blair Outdoor Education Centre where I work and another two Tuesday further south in Cambridge. All looked bright and fresh but were moving along quickly and I couldn't determine m/f. We now have milkweed developing but none flowering as yet. Looking forward to more sightings and some closer observations.
