Date: 05/30/2006

Number: 1

As I was closing the classroom windows at the end of the day I noticed an orange fluttering near our milkweed garden. Lo and behold, it was a monarch! It alit in the grass about 10 yards from the garden, but was gone before I could get out to determine the sex.
