I thought that I had found a Monarch Larva. But,I consulted the Butterfly page and found something that looked like a Swallowtail. Light Brown with a row of white dots on both sides. I will check my book. It was on the sidewalk pavement. Looked very wet and tired and was not going anywhere. I picked it up and offered my dry cloth bag to hang on and it excepted it and we walked the half mile home. Of course, I may have saved a distructive caterpillar, but then that's life.
