Je viens d'observer mon premier monarque de la saison
2006 sur la Côte-Nord, à Les Bergeronnes (48°14' N
69°32' O). Il est passé sur mon terrain, sans que je
puisse l'attraper pour l'admirer plus longtemps.
Moment de quelques secondes, mais plutôt réjouissant!


I have just observed my first monarch of the season
2006 on Coast-North, in Bergeronnes (48°14 ' N 69°32 '
O). It passed on my ground, without I being able to
catch it to admire it longer. Moment of a few seconds,
but rather amusing!



(“O” is short for “Ouest” (West)

Les Bergeronnes is a small community of about 700
people east of Quebec City. At this point, the St.
Lawrence River widens greatly. People like to kayak
out into the river to get a close look at minke and
other species of whales (More ...)
