1st instar caterpillars found on milkweed (planted in garden). I almost always get Monarchs laying eggs on my milkweeds in late July - early Aug. I'd been out of town for several days so looked to see if they had come while I was away. Yes, right on schedule! All so far were found on Common Milkweed and Mexican Milkweed.
