Hi-
I just wanted to report the number of Monarchs I've seen on our mountain meadow this year has been phenomenal. They are a constant presence, unlike other years I've been paying attention. And, we have more monarch caterpillars than ever - we have acres of milkweed and in some areas half the plants have caterpillars. And I'm also surprised to see some of them on small, 6-inch plants, when there are so many mature 3-foot varieties available.
