Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 08/18/2006

Number: 1

Outside our classroom are several monarch eggs resting on our swamp milkweed plants. Our plants are blooming for the first time in the five years since they were planted! My students have brought a couple of the eggs into the classroom for closer observation as we learn about the life cycle of the monarch butterfly. These are the first eggs of this school year in our classroom garden!
