I have seen many monarchs from mid-July to mid-August in flower beds, fields, crossing roads and in local towns. It has been many years since I have seen monarchs in these numbers, in mid-summer. This seems to indicate it has been a very good breeding year for monarchs in this part of the Northeast. I expect the migration to be high.
