I have seen 4 monarch butterflies in the Ottawa region in the last 3 weeks. I was searching on the web for their migration patterns because I haven't seen a monarch in the Ottawa area in a VERY long time - probably years! I was wondering if something was different this year. I'm happy to see them again and when I pointed it out to a few friends, they also commented on seeing more monarchs than is usual in recent years.
