Monarchs were abundant this afternoon in The Toronto Music Park (a small but strategically located garden in downtown Toronto - built in consultation with cellist Yo Yo Ma). After a CBC television interview, I collected about 40 adults feeding on buddleia before heading back to work.
I also learned that during the recent Point Pelee National Park butterfly count, the number of monarchs counted doubled their previous high count for monarchs.
