Wednesday 23rd Yvette saw the same thing regarding Monarchs as reported at Thickson’s Woods at Whitby, Ontario - scores, if not hundreds of fresh looking monarchs settling to roost in openings in hedgerows along a trail near Sandbanks where she walks the dog. It was late afternoon but it was clouding over. Should be lots around for the next couple of weeks.
