We have seen about 5 large Monarchs in our yard last weekend and this most recent weekend I found 7 caterpillars on our milkweed. They were all on plants on the east end of the flower bed. The milkweed on the west end had insects, but no Monarch caterpillars. I brought some of the caterpillars and mildweed into my classroom on Sunday. It is now Monday afternoon and we have a chrysalis already!
