Sunday morning they were flying around in large numbers. during the afternoon they began to roost in a black walnut tree on the south of the house (but on the north of the tree). By evening they numbered above 100, possibly 200 and had moved to other black walnut, maple, & beechnut trees, still south of house & on north, low hanging branches. This morning 8/28/2006 they moved to a Norway maple & pine on the east of the house. This afternoon to a bunch of black walnuts on the north of the house. Roosting & occasionally flying. Damp cloudy humid both days.

There are several hundred, maybe 1000 now. They are roosting on at least 5 or 6 black walnut trees. They fly around some but then come back to roost. It has remained cloudy until this evening. We have taken many pictures but there is no way to capture it all! We are wondering why and how long they will stay!?
