I have seven caterpillars on my tropical milkweed plants that are scattered throughout my yard. They are eating the milkweed in one area only.
This is the earliest I've had caterpillars. Usually, it's mid or near the end of September when I see them.
One year, I collected caterpillars and milkweed before an early frost in October.
