I saw a beautiful female monarch on my butterfly bush in Lawton, Oklahoma on Sunday, September 3, 2006. Several of my neighbors mentioned seeing a monarch yesterday also. The weather was cool (in the 70's) and wet. It had been raining off and on since Friday night.
