Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/05/2006

Number: 1

There are hundreds, perhaps a thousand Monarchs, but less than last year. Though I only saw them in the morning last year as I just had moved here. The area is mostly farmland so there are not a lot of areas with clusters of trees, but there happens to be a small wood lot next to this school (on the west side) They seem to like certain trees better than others, I'll have to check out species once they leave.
