Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/07/2006

Number: 1

Today we had a special surprise delivered to our classroom. A "room mom" brought in one caterpillar in a j shape and another in a chryssalis! It was very exciting. As we worked our way through our morning routine, another chryssalis was formed!

We are documenting any changes and observations daily. We will be doing research and projects around the monarch.

As I was leaving the school building around 3:30p.m., my daughter and I watched a beautiful monarch dance around us in the parking lot.
