Today in the portlands (Toronto waterfront) here in Toronto between the hours of 9am and 11am I watched in amazement as 1700 Monarch Butterflies moved though the city !



Some stop to nectar on blooming Bamboo which got me thinking of the mess my next door neighbour here in High Park has in his back yard (which is full of Bamboo). When I got home, the back yard had 57 monarchs flying and now going to roost for the night .....
