Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/07/2006

Number: 1

We saw thousands of them last night for the first time in my life. IT was a special moment that was shared with my two boys and their great-grandmother, who had never seen anything like it either. They were in here trees just north of Sidney, Ohio. When they were running around the trees and stirred them up it turned the sky black. We played with them for over an hour catching them and releasing them. IT was really special because one of my boys' favorite movie is the "Little Einstiens" video about the migration of the monarch butterflies.
