Ruby throat feeding at feeder and new guinea impatiens on Sept. 13th. It was an adult male that was feeding frequently each day from about Sept 10th ....after the 13th I did not see another hummingbird until a few days later.
A gloomy cool day of September 17, I had a juvenile bird sitting on the feeder feeding on and off, but sitting quite a bit. Mid day I refilled the feeder with some fresh sugar water. I saw it again on Monday the 18th feeding and sitting at the feeder less, it was another cool and rainy day.
I noticed looking at the other listings that not many reports in Minnesota this fall. This is very late from my memory of hummingbird sightings, usually end of August for the birds at my house. But weather here in Minnesota has probably made a huge impact on the birds.
