I know this may be old but I was reading about humming birds tonight and three years ago while I was transplanting some raspberry plants a orange breasted humming bird was very aggressive toward me,I haven't forgot about the episode thought it was strange since I haven't seen one like this before, during research I have concluded that it was a chestnut coronet,I can see this is way of range but I have nothing to gain by lying to you ,just thought you would like to know ,I haven't checked that area since(close to house) it might have come back?I live in eastern ,KY pretty much hills and forest.
Thanks
Allen
