One of my favorite sights is a real short & stubby hummer who we lovingly refer to as "Stubby", was here a few days ago. Is it really the same one we see each fall? - it sure seems to be. He is the only hummer we have actually witnessed sleeping on the feeder which is a half-cylinder hanging/resting flat on our window. Last fall he not only slept for a couple hours on & off, but he also was actually hanging upside asleep for quite some time! We only see him in the fall, and once again he did not disappoint us!
