Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/22/2006

Number: 1

We had warm weather that suddenly turned cool, we noticed several hundred to a thousand monarchs clinging together and at the tops of our spruce trees and in our woods, they remaind there for two nights then this morning the weather turned warmer and the sun came out. They became more active and are flying around. This is the first year we have noticed this and we have lived here 17 yrs.
