Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/23/2006

Number: 1

I was in Cape May on Saturday and Sunday and was amazed by the roosts! I had never seen that before- I can't imagine how great it would be in Mexico or even California. I met monarch enthusiasts, even some monarch watchers. I would say there was between 500-1000 butterflies on one empty lot- Louise said they were there for the English ivy that was in bloom- they were also hanging out on the cedar trees.
