Lots of acorns around. I collected some from the street for my Chipmunk. I put them in a plastic flower pot where it always passes by in my yard. Well, it didn't take long before it was in 7th heaven. Also, the squirrels are checking out the old weeping Willow down back in the woods. It has a lot of torn and damaged trunks. They keep putting nuts ( I Assume ) and they look like they may be using it as a nest for the coming winter. Nighttime temperatures are dropping and expect a frost in the next week. October 15th or so is usually when it dips down to the 30.s
