After a quiet week with relatively low counts, the monarch numbers were way
up today at the Northampton gardens. They seem to be "on the move" everywhere!
You could count two dozen at a time on Tom's double verbena patch.
Is this a new migration wave? [Counts were similarly high 1-2 weeks ago, but
then dropped off markedly this past week.]
