My husband and I have spent over twenty-three years creating a habitat for birds, mammals, amphibians and invertebrates.
For the monarchs and other butterflies we grow hosts plants and flowers that provide favorite nectars. We have recorded data, photographed , videoed our garden and saved seeds noting flowers they prefer. Native milkweed and asclepias seem favorite host plants for monarchs.
