My son, daughter and I have been rearing and releasing Monarchs for most of the summer. Today we released 40 tagged Monarchs at home in Newfoundland, NJ. What a spectacular sight to watch so many of them sticking around nectaring throughout the day on the flowers in the gardens around the house. Around 6pm I watched them fly into the spruce trees in the backyard for their evening roost. The following morning many of them were right back on the flowers still nectaring.
