Our 5th Grade Class at Ironia School went out to the Schoolyard Habitat today, we tagged and released another 8 Monarchs. Looking at the long range weather forcast for North Jersey this might be the last warm day we see for a while so we took advantage of the 70 degree weather to give the Monarchs a chance to get out of here before it gets too cold. Unlike the Monarchs we released two weeks ago that stuck around in the garden, all of these immediately took flight to escape the cold weather that is coming.
