I am visiting my aunt and uncle in Mooresville, NC on Lake Norman. Today we saw many Monarch butterflies. Sometimes we saw one or two and other times we saw 5-6 together. I think we saw about 20 between noon and 4:00pm, they were all flying the same direction and higher than usual butterflies. They all looked very similar.
