-a male monarch eclosed today, and was stretching its wings on a blueberry shrub in our yard. It was still on the same shrub on Sunday morning, 10-1-06, around 8 am. We have new england aster blooming, and there is a lot of goldenrod blooming along the bike paths here, so this monarch will not have to go hungry.
