We are a group of students from Fire Island School. We are in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. Today we took a walk down to beach where we estimated we saw approximately 4,320 monarch butterflies. We are participating in a symbolic butterfly migration project, so we are exicted and astounded by all of the butterflies we saw migrating today.
