While visiting family and walking we observed approx 50-75 Monarchs/hr flying W - SW at about noon to 1:00 pm. The butterflies were typically widely separated (hundreds of feet) from each other. The weather was slightly cloudy and the temp in the high 70's.

Sporadic sightings (approx 20-30/hr) of Monarchs migrating W-SW on clear cloudless day.
