I am joyfully seeing many Monarchs in my home garden as well as our school butterfly garden this year after an absence of them the past two years! We are delighted to have them returning! I had about 30 to 40 caterpillars on the milkweed in my home garden about two weeks ago and had planned to gather a couple to take to school. Much to my dismay, a coupld of days later when I went out to gather some, they had all disappear3ed! I could not find a caterpillar or chrysalis anywhere! I don't have a clue where they went to, but here are certainly plenty flying around now, so they must have hidden themselves away somewhere!
