On the day we planted out bulbs, we had two gray doves that were very curious about what we were doing. We also had a gray squirrel that was inspecting very closely while one of the students was planting her bulbs. He got so close that she acidentally tapped him with her foot when she moved while kneeling to plant her bulbs. So I will be watching to see if we see signs of our bulbs dug up out of the ground by the squirrels
