Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 10/03/2006

Number: 1

Just when we thought we had released our last Monarchs of the year, two more emerged last night. Mr. Szuszkowski's Class at Ironia School gave them a proper send off in our school yard habitat after feeding and tagging them. Since these were our last ones of the year, it was more special than all the other releases we've had. We kept it small, only our classroom of 19 students. Each student also read a piece of poetry to prior to the final Monarch send-off. It's going to be a long and lonely winter here in New Jersey. We wish them well on their journey. Adios Amigos.
