They are HERE! Our visitors came a few at a time and them on Thursday, 10/05/06, the Monarch Butterflies came by the 100s to their old Roosts north and north-east edge of the city of Bronte on the Kickapoo Creek (which is dry now). They come back to the same places every year. We have taken beautiful pictures of them. How long they will stay is anyones guess? Probably until the next cool front begins to send cooler gentle winds our way which may be this week end or the first part of next week. But for now, we are enjoying our visitors passing through. They look large and healthy, but seems like there are not as many as have been here before.
