Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/06/2006

Number: 1

I've noticed monarchs the last few days, but definitely heavier activity today, they're coming down from way up high--maybe they are ahead of the front that is supposed to come thru later on. Counted at least 50 during the lunch hour. It's pretty still out, wind at 8mph officially, but here, not even the cottonwood leaves are moving.
