I saw only two monarchs during this week, however, a woman I visited with 20 miles to the east in Lane, Kansas, had around 40-50 on Monday and Tuesday evening, Oct. 2nd and 3rd, in and around a large pear tree. We discovered 3 larva in Waystation #148, all 4th instars, on the 2nd at Osawatomie, Kansas. This morning I have already seen three coming back from Ottawa, Kansas.
