Here's a little information about Cove. Cove sits at the base of Mt. Fannie, our elevation is 2850 ft. Our soil comes from an aluvial fan so it ranges from clay to loam to sandy deposits in some areas. Cove is named for the cove created by the mountains so we are often protected from the wind and weather in the valley. Our average temperature in winter is in the mid thirties and in the summer we range from 70 to 85 degrees F. We are 250 miles from the Pacific Ocean in rural eastern Oregon.
