During the third week of Sept. I watched flocks of about 10 to 20 monarchs flying out of the north, south. My sightings were in Southern and Northern Mifflin Co. PA. (Center of PA) Some flew alone, and then a small flock. Some circled around and visited the garden. They were flying about twice as tall as the tree tops, I believe. Once I looked and concentrated my eye, more and more were visible. An amazing sight indeed.
