This is the first peak migration I have ever seen. It was only along the Connecticut River, and I was at Bellows Falls, Vermont. There was a Monarch every 20 feet--just extraordinary. The day was warm and sunny. I finally had to stop so the people behind me could pass--I was breaking for Monarchs and no one knew what I was doing. Although I know a lot were hit, I only saw one down on the road.
