Surprised to see a monarch this late in the season.
While out in my field checking on my bees, I came across what looked like a very new monarch. Temps were in the low 80's, unusually warm for us this time of year.

Today, Oct. 10, woke to 27°F. Hope he got out of town while the gettin' was good!
